Head North from Johannesburg, and a mere 3 hour drive will bring you to Nungubane Game Lodge which lies in Welgevonden Private Game Reserve, at the heart of the spectacular Waterberg. The Waterberg, high in the Limpopo Province, is one of South Africa's last unspoilt wildernesses.
Free from malaria, with a temperate climate, Welgevonden is a leading South African private game reserve. Its 37 500 hectares are home to the Big Five, including 16 species of antelope, a rich variety of other animals and some 250 species of birds.
Nungubane welcomes a maximum of ten guests in an atmosphere of intimate luxury. Guests are accommodated in spacious chalets, which command majestic views over the reserve from their individual decks.
